Sheer Genius

Sheer fabrics remain one of the hottest trends, but the more modest approach is what's in this Spring. The days of the tight, see-through tops and dresses that scream, 'look at me' are over!

We're bringing sexy back, but in a more demure approach. The sheer trend is perfect for any fashionista because you can wear the fabric in a multitude of ways. This includes layers, delicate draping, cut-out dresses, flowy blouses, and more. So let's leave something to the imagination this Spring and make it a 'sheer' thing!

5 Ways To Look Sheer Genius
A subtly sheer cut out top is the perfect match for a sexy floral print mini. The hint of sheer is a flirty yet classy touch. Add a trendy waist belt to tie together the look while emphasizing your fabulous figure. You can throw on a pair of gladiator sandals to create a more casual day look, and stash a pair of strappy wedges in the car for a night on the town.

A sheer cardigan is a wardrobe must this season. This floral print version can be styled in many different ways. To create this airy, feminine look put on a pair of high waist khaki shorts, with a neutral blouse and some tie-up rose wedges. You will feel so comfortable and lady like in this look, even grandma will be pleased.

Sheer maxi skirts are definitely on trend this spring, and if you are a fashion leader, then this is the look for you. There is something so feminine and chic about this outfit. The soft grey sweater with the beautiful sheer, rose maxi skirt provides the perfect contrast for this trend. Accessorize with some boho jewelry and a stylish hat to keep it cool. Grab your vintage leather book bag, and you'll turn heads walking to class.

It's all about the prints when it comes to keeping the sheer look classy. Instead of wearing the plain, blatantly sheer blouse, find yourself a cute polka dot one to keep the look more discreet. The high waist burnt orange shorts make this outfit look retro, but so stylish. Finish the look with some oversized shades and knee high boots and you'll have all your friends asking you to style their next outfit.

If you are a casual California girl, this is the perfect look for you. This top incorporates three trends in one: sheer, cropped and off the shoulder. You can throw on this top over a plain or bold colored cami with a pair of cargo skinnys and sandals, and you'll look effortlessly stylish. This look is so easy and comfortable, you might find yourself repeating outfits. ;D

I've got my eye on...

Crochet

Crochet is likely familiar to you in some sense; you've probably seen it on ship's ropes or your grandmother’s blanket. Whatever the case may be, you will see it all over the fashion runways as well. However, as far as fashion is concerned... forget the homemade craft feel. The current crochet trend is all about a great quality, intricacy, and a luxury edge. Wearing crochet gives off the perfect carefree vibe and can be worn with a variety of different pieces. The best part? It can be found at all price ranges!

5 ways to Rock the Crochet Trend

Dress up with a form-fitting camel blazer and black ankle boots to give a crochet dress a more sophisticated feel. This style is so effortless chic... it will make everyone turn heads.

Layer crochet over a tight dress, leather boots, cross-body purse, hippie headband, big sunglasses, and lots and lots of bracelets to create a more casual look.

Spice up any outfit with a crochet scarf. Make the scarf the center of attention by wearing one overall contrasting color. The contrasting colors with be visually appealing and make the crochet scarf pop.

Look effortlessly beautiful by wearing a loose crochet top over cut-off jean shorts. It's the perfect cover-up for a day at the beach or anytime you want to have fun in the sun.

Make any crochet dress look trendy by pairing it with a leather jacket, peace flare necklace and tribal head wrap. Bright red lips are a bonus!
