Currently Crushing On...

The Utility Boot

The military and utility styles are taking the runways by storm, and the utility boot has become an object of my affection. You can pair these with a feminine dress and tights to create contrast. Or, go for the full blown military look and accessorize with some cool metals and leather to make a strong statement.

However, NOT to be confused for...
Timberland Heeled Boot
"Utility Boot"
These are a major fashion faux pas and totally embarrassing, unless you are dressing up as a "sexy construction worker" for Halloween.

There are many different utility styles, so here a few of my favorites...

Christian Louboutin Egoutina Boot

Jimmy Choo Hope Boot

Giuseppe Zanotti Lace Up Suede Boot

Steve Madden Flannel Boot

House of  Harlow Jackson Boot

Aldo Brendal Boot

And...this beloved pair has made its way into my closet.

5 Ways To Rock The Utility Boots

Let your boots be the center of attention, and style them with a pair of skinny jeans, plaid top and blazer to create a more casual look that can be worn to school.

Dress  up with a pair of heeled utility booties, along with some tights, and a feminine blouse and skirt. Accessorize with a girly waist belt and printed bag to create contrast. Finish the look with a warm cape to look sophisticated chic.

It's easy to make a simple floral print dress look trendy when you style it with a leather vest and this pair of sky high utility booties. Not only will your legs look fabulous, but your friends will envy your creative, yet effortless style.

If you're the trendsetter of the group, then get yourself a pair of floral print boots and have fun with all of your favorite pieces. Knee high tights are on trend, and when you wear them with a mini dress and heeled boots, it does wonders for your legs. Don't be afraid to play with colors and textures by layering with a light cardigan and a faux fur vest. Finally, grab your favorite bag because mixing prints is in this Spring!

Willow Smith might be the only person who can pull off this look. However if you are a fashion dare devil as well, then go for it! Dig out the animal print jacket that you wore to your first 7th grade dance and the MC Hammer pants from the Halloween box. Throw on a pair of lace up utility boots and fill yourself with confidence (you'll need it for this look). But don't be surprised if you get a few flabbergasted stares.
